Nasdaq is proposing new diversity requirements for the more than 3,000 companies listed on the exchange. Companies will have to diversify their boards of directors or potentially be delisted.

Here & Now's Peter O'Dowd speaks with Mike Regan, senior editor for Bloomberg News, about the proposal, which is part of a growing effort to shake up corporate boards traditionally dominated by white men.

This segment aired on December 3, 2020.
