Scientists want to know why gophers glow under blacklight

Over the last few years, researchers have discovered that flying squirrels, wombats and platypuses all glow under UV lights. Now, we can add pocket gophers to the list.

As Molly Samuel of WABE reports, scientists have some theories, but they don't really know why the animals glow.
