As climate changes, storms in Eastern U.S. drop more rain, study says

We are learning more today about what climate change means for how much it rains. Researchers at Northwestern University found that as the climate changes, rain storms in the eastern part of the U.S. are getting stronger. In fact, rain storms have been dropping about 5% more rain on average over the last three decades.

Here & Now's Deepa Fernandes speaks with Ryan Harp, co-author of the study and postdoctoral research fellow at Northwestern University.
