'Face-Off' podcast tells the story of growing tension between the U.S. and China

Jane Perlez is a Pulitzer Prize-winning foreign correspondent who covered East Africa, South Asia and served as the Beijing bureau chief of the New York Times. She hosted the podcast "The Great Wager" produced by WBUR on how the U.S. and China came together in the early 1970s with the historic visit by then President Richard Nixon to China.
