Hanna Ali is an associate producer for newsletters at WBUR.
Hanna is the author of WBUR's Weekender newsletter, which is sent weekly on Saturdays. You can always read the latest newsletter in our Field Guide to Boston.
You'll also find Hanna on WBUR's social media channels, bringing those same stories to life through video. After all, in a busy news cycle like this, somebody's got to review local playgrounds, serve ice cream from the Hood Milk Bottle, play games with Boston Marathon runners and explore the curious local history behind things like candlepin bowling and chocolate chip cookies. And Hanna is up to the task.
Before joining WBUR, Hanna worked as a digital editor at the PBS science documentary series NOVA, writing articles for NOVA Next and managing the show’s newsletters and social profiles. She has a bachelor’s degree in public health and journalism from Simmons University. In her free time, Hanna likes to knit and explore Boston’s nightlife.
