Review: "Wings of Desire"

One of the landmark films of the 1980s is now on stage in Cambridge. Set in a divided Berlin, "Wings of Desire" tells the story of an angel who falls in love with a trapeze artist, and decides he'd rather be human than immortal.

The American Repertory Theatre has worked with a Dutch company to produce a stage version of the story and critic at large Ed Siegel looks at how the adaptation compares with the original.

This program aired on December 4, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
