Martin Exits Huntington Stage

'She Loves Me,' now at the Huntington Theatre Company, is both a first...and a last for the Boston troupe.

It's the Huntington's first major musical in six years, and the last show there for Nicholas Martin. The Artistic Director is leaving the Hub after eight years at the helm of the Huntington.

A native of New York, Martin has brought newer playwrights along with well-known actors to Boston. He's also overseen the creation of additional artistic space in the South End, and staged a number of box office successes.

WBUR's Delores Handy visited Nicholas Martin recently, to talk about his time in Boston's theater scene.

This program aired on May 27, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
