Riding The Bus To A Low-Paying Job
In this economic downturn, some regions are struggling more than others. Central Massachusetts, for instance. At one time it was a manufacturing hub. But it has since lost business and unemployment has risen.
And for those who do have jobs, getting to and from work can be costly. However, there is one option: a subsidized bus that gives them a price break on the trip.
WBUR's David Boeri took a ride this week, and has this story.
