Damian Ortega represents a new generation of artists coming out of Mexico.

His exhibition at the ICA, titled "Do it Yourself," showcases installations, photos and sculptures, including a Volkswagon Beetle that dangles from the gallery ceiling.

Monica Garza, director of education at the ICA, said the museum produced bilingual audio tours and a documentary to accommodate Spanish-speaking visitors who come to see Ortega's show.

"We're very excited about that," Garza said, "because a video of that sort has not existed on him and his work, so to have that educational video available in both languages is fantastic."

Forums and gallery conversations about the new art scene in Mexico City are also planned.

This program aired on September 18, 2009. The audio for this program is not available.
