Listen: American Runners Have Competitive Edge In 114th Marathon
PlayRunners from all over the world gathered Monday morning to kick off the Boston marathon-- 2,500 years after the first Marathoner supposedly did the same in Ancient Greece.
WBUR's Alex Ashlock was at the finish line Sunday night, where he spoke to a number of athletes preparing to compete Monday morning. He joined WBUR's Bob Oakes to share his insights on the race.
