The Republican presidential race moves to New Hampshire Wednesday. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney campaigns in Manchester Wednesday and in Peterborough Wednesday night. That's where former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman was Tuesday night. Huntsman is the only major candidate who stayed in New Hampshire this past week.

Huntsman received 1 percent of the vote in Iowa Tuesday night. He's counting on New Hampshire's fiercely independent voters to deliver an upset for him next week. WBUR's Fred Thys was with Huntsman Tuesday night and joined Morning Edition Wednesday from Peterborough to talk about Huntsman's campaign strategy in New Hampshire.

This program aired on January 4, 2012.
