Rep. Lynch Pushes To Declassify 9/11 Congressional Investigation04:30

This article is more than 8 years old.

Massachusetts U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch is renewing his push to declassify parts of the congressional investigation into the 9/11 attacks.

Rep. Lynch says he's surprised by what is within the 28 pages that were excised from the investigation and thinks they should be made public.

"I haven't met anyone who isn't interested in getting the disclosure accomplished," Rep. Lynch said.

He and Republican U.S. Rep. Walter Jones, of North Carolina, are asking their colleagues to read the excised pages and sign a resolution urging the White House to declassify them.

Lynch joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the resolution.

This segment aired on January 8, 2014.
