Afghan Soldiers Who Fled Cape Cod Base Fear Death At Home05:21

The three Afghan military officers who left a training exercise at a Cape Cod military base and were found near the Canadian border last month say they fear being killed by the Taliban if they return home.

Earlier this week, a judge set $25,000 bail for one of the three men. The two others are still awaiting hearings.

WBUR's David Boeri spoke with the soldiers in upstate New York where they are being detained. Listen to his full report above.
