Mental health providers, police and community advocates are holding a forum Monday night on Nantucket to address what some are calling a crisis for the small island town — a rash of suicides in recent weeks.

Organizers say they want to involve the entire community in making sure those in trouble get the help they need.

Tess Pearson, executive director of Family & Children's Services of Nantucket, joined WBUR's All Things Considered to discuss the issue.

This segment aired on December 15, 2014.
