It's a Hasty Pudding party for "Parks and Recreation."

Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt, stars of the NBC sitcom which just began its seventh and final season, have been named Hasty Pudding Theatricals' 2015 Woman and Man of the Year.

“We vehemently deny that the members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals are obsessed with Parks & Recreation,” Jason Hellerstein, president of the Harvard theater group, joked in a statement. “There is absolutely no basis to the rumors of ritualistic weekly viewings of the show at the Hasty Pudding Clubhouse."

Poehler has earned a Golden Globe for her role as Leslie Knope on "Parks and Recreation," as well as five consecutive Emmy nominations. She also hosts and produces the award-winning online series "Smart Girls at the Party."

Before that, Poehler spent seven seasons on "Saturday Night Live" and helped found the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Last year, her first book, "Yes Please," debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times best sellers list.

"The Pudding is proud to honor a talented and hilarious actress whose brand of comedy fits so well with the Pudding's own tradition of satire and social commentary," the group said in its announcement.

Poehler will be treated to the Harvard group's traditional Woman of the Year celebration, leading a parade through Cambridge on Jan. 29, followed by a roast in her honor. Poehler will then receive her "Pudding Pot" at Farkas Hall, Hasty Pudding's home since 1888.

Last year, Oscar winner Helen Mirren earned the Woman of the Year title. Other previous winners include Marion Cotillard, Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Julia Roberts and Jodie Foster.

Pratt, Hasty Pudding's Man of the Year, is best known for his supporting role on "Parks and Rec" as Andy Dwyer. He is also known for his lead role in the Marvel film "Guardians of the Galaxy," one of 2014's top grossing movies. He also voiced the lead role in last year's "The Lego Movie."

"Chris Pratt’s recent achievements as an actor are outstanding and we could not be more thrilled to host him and celebrate his talent as only the Pudding can,” Hellerstein said.

Pratt joins the ranks of Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, and most recently Neil Patrick Harris in obtaining this award. He will be honored on Feb. 6, where he will also get to laugh through his own celebratory roast before getting his "Pudding Pot."

Hasty Pudding's honors were established in 1951, with the male awards added in 1963. According to the release, the Hasty Pudding Club is the nation's oldest social club, and Hasty Pudding Theatricals is the third oldest theater group in the world.
