Mother, Boyfriend Plead Not Guilty In Death Of 2-Year-Old

BOSTON — In an emotional court hearing Monday, prosecutors laid out the details of their case against the two people facing murder charges in the death of 2-year-old Bella Bond, whose body was found on Deer Island in June but was not identified until last week.

WBUR's Fred Thys reports that Rachelle Dee Bond, Bella's mother, and Michael McCarthy, Bond's boyfriend, pleaded not guilty Monday in connection with the death.
