Locked In Tight Race, Sanders Appeals To Students, Others At UMass-Amherst Rally

In a week, Massachusetts and 12 other states will hold Super Tuesday presidential primaries and caucuses.

In his appeal for support, Democrat Bernie Sanders is telling voters in Massachusetts they could make a difference in the race. He was in the Bay State Monday night for a rally at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

WBUR's Fred Thys attended the rally and reports for Morning Edition.
