Amtrak Downeaster Trains Are Running Again

Amtrak's Downeaster train service that runs between Boston and Maine is back up and running as of Monday morning.

The service had been suspended since April because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Downeaster will operate with one round trip each weekday.

Amtrak says its trains will undergo extra cleaning, and all crew and passengers must wear face coverings.
