Which Massachusetts Arts And Culture Institutions Are Open? Here's A List

As of July 6, Massachusetts entered phase three of Gov. Charlie Baker's reopening plan, which allows museums, aquariums and historical facilities to welcome visitors once again. Also allowed to reopen are drive-in movie theaters, indoor movie theaters, and outdoor theater and performance venues. (Large capacity venues will remain closed until phase four.) While some spaces have yet to announce opening dates, here is a list of the places that have resumed operations. This list will be updated.
Note: Advance ticket purchase is required, and of course, wear your mask.
ART
MASS MoCA - Opened July 11.
Clark Art Museum - Opened July 11.
Norman Rockwell Museum - Opened July 11.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - Opened July 15.
Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston - Opened July 16.
Peabody Essex Museum - Opened July 18.
Fitchburg Art Museum - Opened July 22.
Fuller Craft Museum - Opened to the public Aug. 6.
Cape Ann Museum - Opening Oct. 1.
SCIENCE
New England Aquarium - Opened July 16.
Boston Children's Museum - Opened July 22.
Museum of Science - Doors reopened on July 26.
HISTORY
USS Constitution Museum - Opened Aug. 7
Gore Place - The Farm Stand is now open and outdoor tours resume Aug. 26.
