We want to hear from current and former federal workers from New England

Are you a current or former federal worker from New England affected by the changes being made by the Trump administration?

If you're willing to share your experience, we want to listen. Please tell us a little about yourself with the form below. A WBUR reporter will review the responses and may reach out for more information. And if you'd prefer to use a specific app or encrypted service to speak with a reporter, just tell us which one to use in the form.

The conversations we've had with workers have helped us explain how the layoffs will affect Americans in New England and beyond. WBUR has spoken with workers who have been open about their firing, like Everett's Claire Bergstresser, whom Rep. Ayanna Pressley invited to attend Trump's address to Congress. Others, like New Hampshire's Frank Beck, left longtime work for their shot at the "major leagues" — working for the federal government — only to lose their jobs.

In some cases, we've spoken with workers anonymously, like a Fish and Wildlife Service worker who wanted the public to know the damage the firings have done to services they receive, but feared reprisal for speaking out.
