God in Science Class

photoA Texas Tech student filed a complaint against a biology professor who refuses to write grad school recommendations for students who can't truthfully affirm that evolution is at the core of science.

The case highlights a growing tide of attempts by fundamentalist Christian groups to introduce the teaching of religious theories as alternatives to evolution.
