It’s Oscar time.

Sunday night. Red carpet. Big glitter. James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosting and lots on the platter.

Ten nominations for best picture. From royal grandeur and a stutter, to crack and a fighter, to dark ballet and the birth of Facebook. "The King’s Speech" and "The Social Network" duking it out, they say, for best picture.

And a lot more movies and performances to size up. "True Grit," "The Kids are All Right," "The Fighter." Natalie Portman, Geoffrey Rush, Melissa Leo, Jesse Eisenberg.

This hour On Point: we’re diving in on the Oscars.
