Thank You, Cleveland

Goodbye Cleveland. Thank you for your hospitality. For the clean hotel room (a first for these convention trips), the free coffee and muffins on Radio Row, and the shuttle buses that ran like clockwork from our workspace to the “Q.”
Nine live broadcasts later, I can proudly say, “We did it.” And to borrow a phrase from the Republican Party's presidential nominee, On Point’s convention coverage was “huge.” Two live daily broadcasts . Facebook Live! Breaking News.
We never slept. Nearly froze to death up on Radio Row. Ate too many dinners at the salad bar. Woke up to emails with “Regrets, need to cancel” in the subject line from guests we expected to join us that morning. Our Ford Escape was a mobile booking studio.
We spoke to delegates. Lawmakers. Top political journalists. Got global perspective. Thursday night, we were down on the floor inside the Arena.
Sunday, we’re off to do it all again in Philadelphia. See you there! And check out my photo of the newest addition to my convention button collection (See above).
Until then, Karen
