Dashing or Hiding in the Snow?

This week, we plowed, shoveled, and snow-blew out of our homes like the rest of Boston to put together an exciting post-Christmas show of music and conversation.

In the first half of the hour, we kibitz with Hankus Netsky, director of the Klezmer Conservatory Band.  Hankus guides us through a global array of Chanukah music and introduces us to different forms of klezmer.

Anne Azema, Artistic Director and Joel Cohen, Music Director Emeritus of the Boston Camerata join us in the second half to discuss the Camerata's latest performance schedule and special Chrismas CD.

Have a favorite memory from a performance of the Boston Camerata or the Klezmer Conservatory Band?  Is your own musical group/band putting together a holiday CD or program?  Comment below and make sure we all know about it.

This program aired on December 26, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
