You may be able to run, but you probably can't hide. This time of year, political campaign ads are everywhere.

They get so much grief it's hard to believe candidates keep producing them. But they certainly do. And in the Massachusetts gubernatorial race, there's a whole slew of them.

To break through the campaign clutter, we speak with media analyst and Boston University professor John Carroll.
