Boston-based singer Eilen Jewell embraces a mix of musical styles that's best described as Americana.
From country and gospel to blues and rock and roll, Jewell mixes and matches musical styles. And then there's her voice.
The Washington Post wrote, “If Neko Case, Madeleine Peyroux and Billie Holiday had a baby girl who grew up to front a rockabilly band, she’d probably sound a lot like Eilen Jewell.”
Jewell and her band join us in studio to chat about their latest album, "Queen of the Minor Key."
