Men Head To Trial In Slaying Of 4 In Mattapan
ResumeTwo men accused of killing four people, including a toddler, are headed to trial Monday on murder charges. The trial is sure to be followed closely in Boston, particularly by the Mattapan community where the shooting took place in 2010.
Dwayne Moore and Edward Washington are both charged with armed robbery and first-degree murder.
Marcus Hurd, the lone survivor of the shooting who is now paralyzed as a result of his injuries, is expected to take the stand, but even with his testimony, prosecutors expect a number of challenges in this case.
The Boston Globe's Maria Cramer joined Radio Boston to discuss the trial and what we should expect.
