Eyes were locked on the NCAA men and women's championships this week, with the Baylor Lady Bears securing a win last night against Notre Dame, capping off the first 40-0 season in NCAA history.

And the Red Sox launch their season Thursday in Detroit, but they'll have to start without closer Andrew Bailey, who is having surgery today to reconstruct a ligament in his thumb.
