A recent article in The Lancet claimed that New Yorkers' life expectency is rising faster than anywhere else in the United States. (AP)

So when it comes to healthy living well and living longer, you can make the argument that once again that Yankees win and Red Sox lose. A recent article in the "The Lancet" claimed that New Yorkers are living longer, and it gives New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg some of the credit.
