The World Series may be over, but the world of sports goes on. Yesterday, the American League named Cleveland Indians manager — and former Red Sox manager — Terry Francona the 2013 Manager of the Year.

The Miami Dolphins continue to dominate news in football as the NFL investigates the alleged bullying of rookie lineman Jonathan Martin.

In basketball, the Celtics lost their first four games, but won their next four. They have a chance to break .500 when they play the Charlotte Bobcats at the TD Garden tonight.
