The music of Della Mae is self-described as "man-grass," but it's all women — five of them, to be exact. What began as a gimmick has become a foot-stomping force to be reckoned with in the bluegrass world and beyond.

The band joins us in-studio to perform songs off its new album, This World Oft Can Be, and to talk about being a band of all women in a male-dominated genre.

Guests

Kimber Ludiker, fiddle and founder of Della Mae

Celia Woodsmith, lead vocalist

Courtney Hartman, guitar

Shelby Means, upright bass

Jenni Lyn Gardner, mandolin
