Angelique Kidjo is known as the "Queen of African Music" and "Africa's premier diva," and with good reason. She's a GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter, fluent in several of languages and musical genres, with a wonderfully expressive and powerful voice.

She and her band will be performing this Sunday at the Somerville Theatre, and she joined us recently to talk about her new album Eve, which is dedicated to the women of Africa.

Guest

Angelique Kidjo, GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter.

This segment aired on February 18, 2014.
