Resume

No one harmonizes quite like siblings, as is evident in the music of Karen, Lorna, and Joleen McLaughlin, also known as The Henry Girls. They're from County Donegal in Ireland, though they refer to their music as a "fusion of the Donegal coastline and the Appalachian mountains."

They've just released a new album, Louder Than Words, and they'll be performing tonight at Book & Bar in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and  this Sunday at Club Passim in Cambridge.

Guests

Karen McLaughlin, fiddle and ukulele.

Lorna McLaughlin, piano accordion.

Joleen McLaughlin, harp.

This segment aired on March 12, 2014.
