For the past two months, federal prosecutors have been making their case against former Massachusetts probation commissioner John O'Brien. They claim that he and two of his top deputies orchestrated an illegal scheme to trade jobs at the probation department for legislative favors. This week, it will finally be up to the jury to decide on issues of guilt or innocence.
