For Irish Singer-Songwriter Declan O'Rourke, Music Is All About Story

Some songwriters are known for their catchy hooks, others for lush instrumentation or grooves made for dancing. But for Irish singer-songwriter Declan O'Rourke, it's all about the story.

Born in Dublin and known as a balladeer, O'Rourke is a gifted lyricist who writes and sings about romance, compassion, history and mortality.

WBUR's Sacha Pfeiffer speaks with O'Rourke about his music as he performs live in Radio Boston's studio.
