Becca Pizzi is the manager of an ice cream store in Belmont and also a world marathon challenge champion, running seven marathons in seven continents over seven days.

When we talked to her before the race started, she was hoping to be the first American female to complete the race. She ended up being the fastest female to finish all seven races, despite a groin tear in her sixth marathon in Dubai. Becca's average time for each marathon was three hours, 55 minutes, about an hour faster than the average marathon time for women.

Guest

Becca Pizzi, marathoner, Belmont resident.
