On Monday, the 121st Boston Marathon will be run, and the bib number worn by the first woman to run the marathon, Kathrine Switzer, will be retired.

But before that, a memorial for the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing will be happening on Saturday. Officials also outlined today the safety and security protocols that will be in place throughout the marathon.
