MassArt President David Nelson On The Importance Of The Arts

This Friday, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design will inaugurate David Nelson as the school's 12th president. MassArt is the only college of its kind in the country — a standalone public school for the arts.

Nelson's been spending the last year meeting with the students, faculty and staff to talk about the future of the college. As he prepares for his inauguration, we met with him at his MassArt office, to hear about his vision for the future of the school.
