Supreme Court Case Could Change Sales Tax Rules For Online Retailers
ResumeThe Supreme Court heard oral arguments today in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. If the Court finds for South Dakota, it would overturn Quill Corp. v. North Dakota, the 1992 decision which established the rule that requires online retailers to collect sales tax only if it has a physical presence in the state.
