The Food and Drug Administration is making its biggest moves against the tobacco industry in years.

The agency on Thursday put out new proposals that would restrict the sales of flavored e-cigarettes, and completely ban menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars from the market.

Also this week, Juul Labs, the largest producer of e-cigarettes, voluntarily removed many of its flavored products from stores.
