Red Sox manager Alex Cora confirmed Sunday night that he will not attend the team's celebration at the White House on Thursday. Cora said his decision, which he first announced in a Puerto Rican newspaper, was based on the U.S. government's failure to adequately respond to the devastation brought by Hurricane Maria in 2017.
