Democratic Presidential Candidate And Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan
Resume
Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan was elected in 2002 when he was 29 years old — at the time the youngest Democrat in the House of Representatives.
He came to national attention in 2016 when he tried to unseat Nancy Pelosi, arguing leadership had cost them elections in key democratic strongholds in the Rust Belt.
Ryan is now running for president to represent America's "forgotten communities."
