What should Boston do in the face of a major addiction crisis?

One controversial proposal would create supervised consumption sites, places where people can consume drugs under the supervision of trained staff.

Boston City Councilor Annissa Essaibi-George is the chair of the Committee on Homelessness, Mental Health, and Recovery. She has just returned from Toronto, where she was looking into their approach to handling addiction, including supervised consumption sites. We hear her reflection on the visit.
