With The Emmys Around The Corner, A Look At What Makes Good TV Theme Music

The Emmys are this Sunday, but the HBO comedy-drama "Succession" has already received an award for the best theme music on TV. The score won for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music the Creative Arts Emmy Ceremony, a preliminary event honoring achievement in technical and artistic categories.

That got us wondering: what makes good TV theme music, anyway?
