Remembering Chuck Turner's Legacy In Boston

We remember former Boston City Councilor and long-time community activist Chuck Turner, who died on Christmas at age 79. Turner served on the Boston city council for five terms, beginning in 1999. Before that, he lead the way in defeating a proposed "inner loop" highway project that would have displaced thousands in Boston. He was also convicted of attempted extortion and three counts of providing false statements to FBI in 2010.
