Outgoing Simmons President Helen Drinan

Helen Drinan is retiring in June as the eighth president of Simmons University — Simmons College when she started. She's led that institution through major disruptions in the economy and higher education. Drinan also served as a senior executive for Caritas Christi Health Care and for BankBoston.

Throughout her career, she's made women's leadership and education a key goal.
