Newton Voters To Weigh In On Development
PlayVoters in Newton will decide on a new mixed-use housing development project in Newton Upper Falls. The City Council approved it, but some neighborhood groups oppose it, and now its future is on the ballot.
We're joined by Deb Crossley, a Councilor At-Large from Ward 5 in Newton, where this project is located. She explains why she voted yes on the proposal. We also hear from Randy Block, president of RightSize Newton, a community organization opposed to the project. Finally, Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller shares her perspective on the Northland development, as well as other issues facing the city of Newton.
