Activists' call to "defund the police" is gathering force in Boston.

Dozens of people testified during a public budget hearing of the Boston city council's ways and means committee on Tuesday, many calling for the city to redirect some of the more than $400 million it spends on policing to other community services.

We speak to City Councilor Andrea Campbell, chair of the council's committee on public safety and criminal justice, about what comes next at city hall.
