Massachusetts Scales Down Contact Tracing Efforts As Businesses, Public Spaces Reopen

When the governor announced the Commonwealth's contact tracing initiative, it was to be a key strategy in our overall coronavirus response. As Massachusetts thus far successfully reduced the spread of COVID-19, it has begun scaling back those contact tracing efforts. The program has reportedly also faced criticism from some communities for its efficacy.
So, where we are on contact tracing, and do we have the system we need now, and down the line? We discuss with John Welch, the director of partnerships and operations for the MA Covid Response project at Partners In Health.
