This week and next, thousands of students are returning to Boston University and Northeastern, the two largest universities in the city of Boston.

Greater Boston is home to dozens of colleges and universities, and the job of keeping students and communities safe from COVID-19 while also supporting student learning is uncharted territory.

Our guests are Kathy Spiegelman, vice president and chief of campus planning and development at Northeastern, and Dr. David Hamer, professor of global health at BU's School of Public Health and School of Medicine, and a member of the medical advisory group, which advises the university on the public health measures.

This segment aired on August 25, 2020.
